# Wallet Setup

Before buying or using Degenphone numbers, you need a cryptocurrency wallet compatible with the blockchain where the numbers exist.

**For TON Blockchain Numbers**

TON numbers require a TON-compatible wallet. Recommended options:

**Tonkeeper**: Mobile and browser extension wallet. Download from tonkeeper.com or your device's app store. Create a new wallet or import existing one using recovery phrase. Fund with TON to purchase numbers.

**Telegram Wallet**: Built into Telegram messenger. Access through Telegram settings. Convenient if you're already using Telegram. Supports buying and managing Degenphone numbers directly.
