# Verification Tool

The verification tool at [degenphone.xyz/verify](https://degenphone.xyz/verify) lets you check a number's history before buying it on the secondary market.

**What It Shows**

Enter any Degenphone number into the tool and it displays:

**Origin Status**: Whether the number is Fresh (never used) or Recycled (previously activated).

**Registration History**: Which services and platforms the number was registered on when detectable. This includes social media accounts, exchanges, messaging apps, and other services where the number was used for verification.

**Platform Usage**: Specific platforms where the number appears in their systems. Not all registrations are detectable, but the tool shows what information is publicly available or retrievable.
